Heavy Duty Expandable Monofilament Sleeving

 

EMF-HD is braided using monofilament strands that are 50% thicker than standard General Purpose sleeving (EMF-GP).  It is a tough, lightweight jacketing material for bundling wire or cable.  It can be used as abrasion protection or as a cosmetic jacket for wire and cable groups.  EMF-HD is commonly used in marine or industrial applications where extreme abrasion resistance is needed.  

The nominal sizes and usable size ranges are listed below.  Common uses also include hoses, cables and chains to protect surfaces from wear and scuffing.

EMF-HD is braided from .015” polyester monofilaments with a continuous operating temperature of 125oC, and excellent chemical and fungus resistance.  The larger diameter monofilaments give the heavy duty sleeving a heavier wall thickness and greater abrasion resistance than the general purpose sleeving.

EMF-HD cuts easily and cleanly with a hot knife.
