Striping of Wire & Cable
Striped wire is essential when dealing with 
complex wire harnesses with multiple conductors. One, two or three spiral stripes can be applied to allow for unique identification of hundreds of individual conductors.
Most wire styles have up to ten standard base colors, and striping inks compatible with each insulation type also are available in ten standard colors.
RDS can apply spiral color coding stripes to most insulated wires and round cables. Small minimum quantities (normally as low as 100 feet per combination of stripes) can be processed on quick turn-arounds.
Typical insulation types to receive stripes are PVC, Nylon, PTFE and FEP (Teflons), ETFE and XLETFE.
RDS can also perform stripe durability testing in-house to your specification, or to MIL/Aerospace standards.
